Sarah Bernhardt Peony

Starting May 1st I have been on peony watch. The first to be harvested are Coral Charm and Lemon Chiffon. I check the field at least twice a day for the perfect time to harvest.

By mid May the white and pink peony join the harvest.

Over the years I’ve planted hundreds of peony. They will last for one hundred years in the ground.

I offer a three week peony subscription each year. They go on sale in the dead of winter and is something to look forward to!

By the end of May, the more flowers are available to round out a beautiful bouquet. Delphinium, Phacelia, Dianthus, Solomon Seal and Weigela.

Egg?

Fun find in the beds. This egg was perfectly intact. The next day it was gone. Maybe someone’s breakfast?

There are still a few spots in my June Subscriptions. Check here- SHOP

Find me every Tuesday at Kenilworth Farmer’s Market from 3pm-6pm. It’s a great little market with producer only vendors. For a list of vendors, visit the website.
