It’s been hot, hazy and humid this month and some flowers thrive in these conditions!
Dahlias are native to the mountains of Mexico and the blooms start to get going as summer ends and the nights turn chilly.
Good quality compost remains a staple on Celadon Hill as we use it along with cover crops in our “no-till” practices.
This month we are busy making deliveries to floral designers as weddings come back in full force. We’re also at Overlea Farmer’s market on August 21st, September 18th and October 2nd.
