The past month has been a roller coaster around the world, but here on Celadon Hill, we’re still growing. The seedlings, baby plants and hardy annuals are doing beautifully.
In the reality of social distance, we decided to begin delivery earlier than planned with the first tulips of the season and it was amazing!
Online order and payment, a planned delivery day and time, a bucket with water placed on the porch and contactless delivery was a success!
Local flowers and locally grown products are brightening the days of many during these unprecedented times. The Maryland Farmers Market Association created a Google Map directory of Mid-Atlantic farms and food sources to promote local food access across the region with the help of Future Harvest, Delmarva Grown and the Metropolitan Washington Council of Governments.
We’ve witnessed a huge resurgence of interest in starting a garden! Your local University extension office is a great place to start to learn more about seed starting, vegetable growing and native plants.
Our spring flowers will be in bloom very soon and we’re offering Spring Bouquet Subscriptions and Mother’s Day Mixed Bunches with Plant Sale add on! All purchases will be with contactless delivery.
Thank you for supporting locally grown! Feel free to forward this post to someone who loves flowers and follow us on Facebook and Instagram for weekly updates! Stay safe and healthy.
