April began with the Eclipse in Cleveland. My official second “Totality” was amazing. My brother and sister-in-law live in Cleveland and welcomed us with a party and day of activities at Farm Park. Highly recommend seeing totality if you can, there is nothing like it.
The rest of the month was filled with TULIPS! All kinds, in bunches, buckets and subscriptions.
I have Tulip Buckets available for order with pick up from our flower stand. 30 stems for you to design, share and enjoy! And there’s still a few June Bucket Subscriptions available.
A goal of mine this year is to bring more birds into the fields. They are excellent bad bug hunters. I grew these bird house gourds last year and let them dry out. Tim made the hole with a circle drill and we hung them up.
Anemone are one of my favorite flowers. There are many types, this is Anemone coronaria .
They love the cool spring weather and will fade when the days get warm.
I’m excited to be at Kenilworth Farmer’s Market this season. The market opens on Tuesday, May 7th. It’s open from 3pm-6pm and located under the parking lot at Kenilworth Shops. Look for me and tulips!
Look for our Tulip Bunches at Beaumont Pottery on Saturday, May 4th. They will be hosting a mini market with vendors and lots of their beautiful pottery. This is such a fun place to visit in Phoenix, Maryland.
Archie’s birthday is in April. He is 5 years old and brings so much joy to Celadon Hill. He posed perfectly for this photo. Thank you for following and choosing locally grown flowers. I hope to see you this season!
